Travel Resurgence accepts guest contributions that align with its editorial focus: lived experience, presence, and honest observation.

This is not a platform for advice, destination promotion, or search-driven content. Submissions are considered only when they come from direct experience and offer insight that could not be written without having been there.

What We Publish

We are interested in writing that explores how travel feels rather than how it functions.

That includes:

  • First-hand experiences shaped by time spent in place
  • Attention to atmosphere, culture, and timing
  • Moments of friction, uncertainty, or quiet clarity
  • Reflection that emerges from presence, not instruction

We value restraint over explanation, and observation over conclusions.

What We Don’t Publish

To protect the integrity of the publication, we do not accept:

  • Destination guides or “best of” lists
  • Itineraries, planning advice, or recommendations
  • Affiliate links or promotional content
  • AI-generated or heavily templated writing
  • Content written without first-hand experience

If your piece is designed to rank, convert, or promote, this is not the right place for it.

Editorial Expectations

All submissions must meet the following standards:

  • Written from direct, personal experience
  • Original and unpublished elsewhere
  • Focused on perception, judgment, or atmosphere
  • Free from sales language or commercial intent

Editing may be requested to align tone and clarity with the publication.

Links & Attribution

Contributor bios may include:

  • A brief personal description
  • One non-commercial link to a personal site or publication

We do not accept promotional backlinks, affiliate links, or keyword-optimised anchors.

How to Submit

Please send:

  • A short pitch (2–3 paragraphs) describing the experience and angle
  • The location and approximate time period of the experience
  • Links to previous writing (if available)

Due to volume, we may not be able to respond to all submissions.
